John Quinn - Psychodynamic Counsellor

I trained at the Garnethill Centre in Glasgow and left with a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 2018. I worked with the Inverclyde based organisation Mind Mosaic before setting up my own practice in 2019.

Currently I combine my own practice with counselling at the Garnethill Centre.

My qualifcations:

• BA Hons Social Sciences
• Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary)
• MA in Theatre and Performance Studies
• Certificate in Counselling Skills
• Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling

In addition to this I work in the training and development of counselling students. In the past I worked as a high school teacher of Drama before becoming a counsellor. There is perhaps a pattern in my being interested in connecting people with their emotions in order to facilitate growth.
